My name is Gijs Ferkranus and I am a professional photographer. I live with my family in a Hansel and Gretel house amidst the hilly region of the Netherlands. Mountain biking is my thrill, and I'm all about camping and immersing in nature. This adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors also strongly influence my work.

My career has taken a turn from graphic designer to photographer. This switch has proven advantageous as my design experience aids my choices in photography, encompassing both form and content. I excel in processes that transform ideas into realities, always considering the big picture. With a graphic eye and narrative thinking, I'm at home behind the lens. I thrive on the excitement of a complete shoot, and my background as a graphic designer enables me not only to produce compelling images but also to collaborate on storylines, locations, and end products like books and magazines.
